Peace Island Volunteers provides needed support to Peace Island Medical Center, but is a separate organization, with its own 501(c)3 designation. PIV keeps its operating expenses to an absolute minimum, using most of its funds to support its many projects.
As a member, you have a choice as to whether you want to contribute time or not. Many PIV members are not able to contribute hours of service at all, but their dues are an important way of supporting the volunteer program.
Your dues are essential in allowing PIV to continue giving help where help is needed. Remember, we welcome men as well as women! Dues are just $25 per year.
